SHOULDER HYDRATION PACK
An important embodiment of this years collection, exploring how anatomy can impact clothing. The team started with the goal of making a bag which was modeled after the scapula, humerus and clavicle bones. We also had an another product that we had opened to turn into a Hydration pouch with a tube to drink water from. As we finished the third sample of this back we began to realise the two ideas could be married.
A hydration pouch is placed within the scapula bone, and the tube of this pouch travels up and through the clavicle bone resting calmly below your head ready to provide H2O from the nozzle.
The entire item is constructed from 79 pieces of precisely cut and sewn lambskin offering a supple feel and the flexibility such a complex design requires in terms of sewing. The humerus can also be detached from the scapula.
